I am a lover of literature, nature, and history. I devote a huge portion of my time to reading and studying how potatoes changed the lives of Europeans, or why Napoleon was defeated at Waterloo (try to find out what happened to the teeth of the fallen only at your own risk). The authors who caused my reading until 3:00 am and shaped my own writing are Steven Erikson, Terry Pratchett, Lucy Maud Montgomery, Enid Blyton, Bram Stoker, H.P. Lovecraft, Anne McCaffrey, Jared Diamond … The list is getting long. Yes, I read a lot. As you could notice, anything from a good child story to transdisciplinary non-fiction finds home on my shelf.
